  33. Quantum Lightning 730S?  I have one myself with my A3000 (with the 
  34. Proto SCSI WD chip), and I have had not a single problem with it 
  35. under AmigaOS.

  37. It could be any number of things.  You could have a defective HDD 
  38. (ie, damaged during shipment)... your SCSI chain could be set up 
  39. wrong...  you could of set up the drive wrong... ect...

  41. At least to my experience, this drive has been the best hard disk I 
  42. have ever used, and I have used a lot.  You might just be having some 
  43. simple problem.  <shrug>
