- Quantum Lightning 730S? I have one myself with my A3000 (with the
- Proto SCSI WD chip), and I have had not a single problem with it
- under AmigaOS.

- It could be any number of things. You could have a defective HDD
- (ie, damaged during shipment)... your SCSI chain could be set up
- wrong... you could of set up the drive wrong... ect...

- At least to my experience, this drive has been the best hard disk I
- have ever used, and I have used a lot. You might just be having some
- simple problem. <shrug>
